I use Diqus plugin for my wordpress blog. It works well, but I have seen other comment plugins that allow you to choose facebook, twitter, bloglines, or other commenting systems to comment from.
It would be nice to offer visitors a choice. It they had Disqus profile then great. If not then no problem just leave a comment.

All a commenter needs to do is enter their username, and the plugin automatically creates a link to their profile based on that username.
